Abstrak: Proses belajar mengajar merupakan penentu dalam pendidikan dan pengajaran. Pendidikan jasmani adalah disiplin akademik dengan menggunakan pendekatan interdicipline dan crossdicipline. Pendidikan jasmani akan berkembang apabila perkembangan teori penyangganya dapat dikuasai, dikembangkan dan diaplikasikan. Teori penyangga yang urgen diaplikasikan adalah teori belajar. Ada lima teori diantara banyak teori yangmendeskripsikan tentang hasil belajar, yaitu Guilford (1967), Gagne (1975), (Bloom, 1979), (Merril, 1983)7 dan Marzano (1992). Untuk keperluan merancang pembelajaran, baik yang dilakukan dalam dunia pendidikan jasmani maupun kepelatihan, mengidentifikasi hasil belajar manusia akan lebih mengarahkan kepada efektifitas hasil sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan.
